Jimmy's wife, Elizabeth, is originally from Arlington, Virginia, and her parents still live in Falls Church, Virginia. She graduated from George Mason University in 1980 with a B.S. in biology. Liz, as friends call her, went on to graduate from LSUA in 1986 with a nursing degree. For 22 years she has worked as a cardiac nurse at Rapides Regional Medical Center. She met Jimmy while he was attending the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
Elizabeth and Jimmy have five children: Wes is 28 and has returned from service to his country in Iraq.
Charlee Beth is 23 and is married. Sarah is 18 and currently serves in the Air Force at Barksdale AFB in Shreveport. David is 17 and starting his senior year at Alexandria Senior High School. Daniel, his twin, is 17 and will begin training at Alexandria Vocational-Technical School to become a welder.
The couple's four grandchildren include: Dalton (10), Kylee (2), Aubrie (9 months), and Ashton (8 months).
