iXora Web Design is a Collaboration
of new and student web designers who believe they can provide quality web sites for very reasonable prices. They specialize in building small sites for small enterprises: a local family business, a home business or hobby, a local club or church, a personal site for some individual purpose.
If you are a large corporation, a state or national organization, or want a large website with lots of flash and trash, we are not for you.
iXora Web Design began as a private one-client endeavor back in October, 2002. The group has expanded and is now accepting additional projects as of June, 2008. The company is based in Sarasota, Florida, where our financial advisors and webmaster reside. Other personel live and work in Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Philadephia. All are graduates of top flight universities including Cornell University and the University of Pittsburgh. All have experience in their fields. All enjoy what they do.
About the Webmaster
Webmaster Frankie Bailey, founder of iXora Web design, is a former mathematics and computer science teacher from Pittsburgh. Frankie developed the Advanced Placement Program in Computer Scence for the West Mifflin Area School District in the Pittsburgh suburbs and was involved with "tele-teaching" the course via computer hook-up to schools outside the district. She received an award for excellence in technology from the PA State Legislature for her innovative
work in this field.
Frankie holds a BA [Mathematics] from Marietta College, Ohio and a BS [Computer Science] from the University of Pittsburgh and has worked with computers for twenty plus years. She has been designing websites for eight years for private clients and has decided to expand her opportunities. Frankie is still teaching mathematics part-time for Sylvan Learning Systems in Bradenton, Florida. She is an active member of the Lakewood Ranch Women's Club, Lakewood Ranch Tennis Club, and Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Community in Lakewood Ranch, Florida where she currently resides.
